British Junior Wrestling Championships, Shannon Hawke Three children and 2 judges posing for the camera On Friday the 27th of June Tullibody Wrestling Club left the Civic Centre at 8:30am to travel to Brighton for the British Championships. We were in a bus for 11 hours traveling.

The next morning I had to get up at 7:00 to get to the weigh-in at Warthing Leisure Centre. I was feeling really anxious but excited at the same time. After the weigh-in I had to wait very patiently for my first match as it wasn't until bout number 62. When I first saw the girl I was fighting I didn't feel scared or frightened. When it came tomy match I just went out there and done my best and came off the mat with my head held high because I won with a pin.

Then I had to wait again very patiently until bout number until bout number 77 which was against a girl who I had never seen before in my life and again I came of holding my head high knowing I was the British Champ again 3 years running. Both of my fights were easy and I won them both with a pin.

Tullibody wrestling picked up 3 gold medals which were Brian Harper, Corey Keatings and myself. We also got 2 silver medals and 1 bronze medal.

When I went to my bed that night I felt so proud of myself standing on the podium for the 3rd time in a row.
